Katharine Bar is faculty in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and directs the Virus and Reservoirs Core of the Penn Center for AIDS Research. At Penn, she is an infectious diseases provider and a translational physician-scientist studying novel approaches to HIV prevention and cure. Through her roles in the HIV Vaccines Trials Network and the AIDS Clinical Trials Group, Katharine leads trials testing novel applications of antibodies for prevention, therapy and cure.
