Fellowships

The IAS supports the growth of a new generation of HIV researchers, advocates and healthcare professionals in regions where resources for HIV are limited. Fellowship programmes strengthen change makers’ skills, facilitate their integration into international networks, and contribute to strengthening institutions in their home countries.

CIPHER Growing the Leaders of Tomorrow Fellowship Programme

The Growing the Leaders of Tomorrow Fellowship Programme contributes to strengthening HIV clinical research capacity in HIV high-burden countries in central, eastern, southern, and western Africa. The two-year research fellowships provide up to USD 70,000 (USD 35,000 per year) for a leader to work with an established mentor on a funded research project that addresses key gaps in paediatric and adolescent HIV clinical science.
