Bridging the gap between HIV science and implementation at the local level

Educational Fund Meeting locations on a world map

The IAS Educational Fund organizes country and regional meetings that place the latest science presented at international conferences into local context. Since 2016, the Educational Fund has convened more than 35 meetings, in particular, in low-and middle-income countries targeted at health and social service providers, researchers, policy makers and key community actors. The meetings have reached almost 7,000 stakeholders.

This engagement aims to support development and implementation of new policies and strategies and improvement of service delivery that reflects the latest scientific evidence in HIV contextualized to local settings. The Educational Fund collaborates closely with local academic, government and civil society partners to implement the meetings.
