Christoph Spinner is a consultant physician in infectious diseases, Executive Head of the Department of Medicine & Strategy and Chief Medical Information Officer at University Hospital rechts der Isar. He is an adjunct teaching professor with Technical University of Munich. He oversees strategic planning and digital transformation processes at the hospital and coordinates a large late clinical translation research site for infectious diseases, including HIV and AIDS. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as a Pandemic Officer at the hospital and consulted officials and joined several guidance committees. Christoph is a board member of the German AIDS Society (DAIG) and a member of the German Society for Infectious Diseases (DGI). He has been an IAS Member since 2013.
