Harm reduction and medical services will be available during AIDS 2024, the 25th International AIDS Conference, which takes place in Munich, Germany, from 22 July to 26 July 2024.
In collaboration with local harm reduction service facilities and medical professionals in Munich, IAS – the International AIDS Society – will ensure that these services are available to all in-person delegates throughout the conference.
While in Munich, the IAS is required to follow rules and guidelines for the provision of harm reduction services as determined by local public health services.
Information on the following services will be readily available throughout the Messe München: the Trade Fair Center Messe München and the ICM – International Congress Center Messe München.
(including within the first aid and Positive Lounge):
- Medical services and treatment centres for HIV and sexual health
- Medical facilities and services for people who use drugs
- The use of drugs while in Munich
- Access to prescriptions while in Munich
