IAS – the International AIDS Society – invites you to an IAS Educational Fund symposium, titled “Science, policy and communities: Together for an efficient HIV response in Togo”, in Lomé, Togo, on 7 October. Organized in partnership with Espoir Vie-Togo, this symposium follows IAS 2025, the 13th IAS Conference on HIV Science, to share and discuss the latest scientific evidence in the local context.  

The symposium will be held in French with English interpretation.

Speakers and participants will discuss:

  • Key messages from IAS 2025
  • The HIV response in Togo
  • Addressing stigma and discrimination
  • Paediatric HIV: prevention, treatment and triple elimination
  • Ageing with HIV: managing co-morbidities and quality of life

The symposium is open to clinicians, health and social service providers, researchers, policy makers, activists, members of key and vulnerable populations, and people living with HIV.
