Stacey Hannah, MHS, is Director: Research Engagement at AVAC. She is a global public health professional with 20 years of experience in HIV vaccine and biomedical research, with a focus on low- and lower-middle-income countries. Stacey directs AVAC’s programmes focused on participatory engagement of stakeholders in the biomedical HIV prevention research and development pipeline.
Since 2016, she has served as Project Director for AVAC’s USAID-funded project, the Coalition to Accelerate and Support Prevention Research. Since 2011, she has led AVAC’s Good Participatory Practice Initiative, working closely with research networks, clinical trial sites and civil society partners globally.
