Richard Dunham, PhD, is Director, HIV Cure at ViiV Healthcare and has 20 years of experience in HIV research and drug discovery in both academia and industry. He joined GSK and ViiV Healthcare in 2013 to lead projects aimed at treating persistent inflammation in people living with HIV and eliminating HIV reservoirs. He currently directs HIV cure, clinical/translational immunology and therapeutic vaccines efforts at ViiV. He earned his PhD at Emory University and conducted postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco.
