What inspires you to work in the HIV field?

I am living with HIV, and our community faces many challenges with HIV-related services. Moreover, I am from a resource-limited country and the community of people living with HIV needs to know more about updated information and innovations. HIV cure is our hope and so, I want to know more to share with the community in Myanmar and advocate to stakeholders. That's why I am so interested in working in the HIV field.

What are your goals as an IAS change maker?

My goals as an IAS change maker are to learn new ideas and concepts in the HIV response, share the knowledge gained from this programme, and advocate to stakeholders to improve collaboration and cooperation in the national HIV response in Myanmar.

The IAS promotes the use of non-stigmatizing, people-first language. The translations are all automated in the interest of making our content as widely accessible as possible. Regretfully, they may not always adhere to the people-first language of the original version.
