What inspires you to work in the HIV field?

I have lost loved ones due to this disease, and I have seen the devastating effects of HIV stigma.

What are your goals as an IAS change maker?

My goals are to:

  • Increase awareness about HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
  • Erase stigma.
  • Advocate for vaccine availability in my community.
  • Create evidence-based awareness about non-communicable diseases for young people living with HIV.
  • Support an end to the HIV epidemic with data.

The IAS promotes the use of non-stigmatizing, people-first language. The translations are all automated in the interest of making our content as widely accessible as possible. Regretfully, they may not always adhere to the people-first language of the original version.
