What inspires you to work in the HIV field?
I am inspired to work in the HIV field because there are significant health inequities among people living with HIV, particularly in key and vulnerable populations (for example, women, gender minorities, sexual minorities, racial minorities and older adults). I hope to contribute to improving access to adequate support for these groups so they will not experience disproportionately worse health outcomes than the general population.
What are your goals as an IAS change maker?
My goals as an IAS change maker are to have an impact on reducing inequities in health for key populations living with HIV and to continue growing professionally within this field through networking, learning and professional opportunities. In this way, I hope to generate a larger platform that allows for increased impact.
