Uniting science and community to accelerate the HIV response in EECA

IAS – the International AIDS Society – in partnership with Uniunea pentru Echitate si Sanatate (Union for Equity and Health), is organizing a scientific symposium, titled “Uniting science and community to accelerate the HIV response in EECA”, at Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in Chisinau, Moldova, on 11 November. This symposium is intended to provide access to and discuss the latest scientific evidence from AIDS 2024, the 25th International AIDS Conference, in the local context.     

Speakers and participants will discuss:

  • Key messages from AIDS 2024
  • Current HIV response in  EECA
  • Youth leadership and interventions
  • Innovation in HIV prevention and treatment
  • The treatment cascade and the power of data for a better HIV response

This symposium will be held in English, Romanian and Russian. Interpretation in the three languages will be provided.
