AIM: To accelerate an evidence-informed, human rights-based and integrated HIV response for infants, children, adolescents and young people living with and affected by HIV
The CIPHER Grants are game changing for early-career researchers in their ability to connect them with world leading and priority setting researchers, policy makers, funders and implementers.
CIPHER grantee
The IAS established the Collaborative Initiative for Paediatric HIV Education and Research (CIPHER) in 2012. CIPHER is committed to placing the unique challenges faced by paediatric and adolescent populations on the global public health agenda.
It does so by:
- Addressing priority knowledge gaps in paediatric and adolescent HIV through grants and fellowships, innovative capacity building and collaborative approaches.
- Accelerating the translation of evidence into policies, programmes and care.
- Using evidence to spotlight critical issues for children, adolescents and young people in the HIV response, and enabling the creation of opportunities for meaningful engagement of these populations.
