Bryan Cobb, PhD, FACMG, is the Medical Science Director and the Healthcare Delivery Innovation & Collaborations Lead at Genentech in US Medical Affairs. He is focused on bringing digital and traditional biomarkers and innovative tools into clinical trials and clinical practice to improve disease identification and treatment and the lives of healthcare clients.

Bryan obtained a PhD in medical genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed an American Board of Medical Genetics postdoctoral fellowship at the NIH National Human Genome Research Institute. He is a board-certified diplomat of the American College of Medical Genetics & Genomics. 

He has held several roles at Roche, including Lead for the Acute Care Program and GE Healthcare partnership for Acute Care, Head of Medical Affairs for Regulatory, Medical and Safety (RMS), and Director for Roche Diagnostics Corporation’s Molecular Center of Excellence. He has over 15 years of experience in diagnostics across therapeutic areas (infectious diseases, genetics, neuroscience and oncology). Bryan has published in key scientific journals, is a scientific reviewer for journals such as the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, and has served on several international scientific committees and working groups.
