What inspires you to work in the HIV field?

I have been coordinating the Day Care Unit of the Chantal Biya Foundation since 2004. I have greatly contributed to raising this clinic to being the largest paediatric HIV treatment site. I have also cared for infants with HIV who are already teenagers or even young people. My commitment to the response to HIV rests on hope for young people living with HIV

What are your goals as an IAS change maker?

As an IAS change maker, my goals are to: improve the mental health of adolescents living with HIV; and protect the rights and sexual health of adolescents and girl mothers living with HIV.

The IAS promotes the use of non-stigmatizing, people-first language. The translations are all automated in the interest of making our content as widely accessible as possible. Regretfully, they may not always adhere to the people-first language of the original version.
