What inspires you to work in the HIV field?

Working at community level in central, eastern, western and southern African countries, many with HIV prevalence of 10-20%, I have learned the importance of prevention of HIV transmission through the continuum of care. By this, I mean “testing”, “treatment”, “retention” and “viral load”. Different projects have yielded excellent results. I have dedicated the past 10 years of my professional life to working in the HIV field.

What are your goals as an IAS change maker?

My goals are to exchange and transfer my HIV experience and contribute to developments with new ideas within the area of HIV. Beside this, I wish to develop relationships, not only with my mentee, but also among networks.
