The 13th IAS Conference on HIV Science
IAS 2025, the 13th IAS Conference on HIV Science, will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 13 to 17 July 2025. Pre-meetings will be held on 13 July. An estimated 6,000 participants from around the world will attend IAS 2025.

Unite to reach all with person-centred HIV prevention
This World AIDS Day, the IAS calls on the global community to Unite to reach all. Our theme emphasizes the critical importance of joining together and ensuring that everyone has access to HIV prevention services. This means that we must focus on the science and policies needed to implement person-centred service delivery approaches. We must ensure access to new biomedical advancements, notably long-acting or sustained-release HIV prevention technologies, such as injectables and the vaginal ring.

2024 HIV Vaccine Advocacy Academy
The 2024 HIV Vaccine Advocacy Academy, organized by the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise of IAS – the International AIDS Society, will award fellowships to 15 early- to mid-career advocates from central, eastern, southern or western Africa to take part in workshops on HIV vaccine-related advocacy with international experts.
The 2024 academy will take place in Windhoek, Namibia, on 16-18 December. Selected participants will receive full travel support.
The deadline for applications is 20 October, 23:59 CEST.
