Announcing Kevin Osborne as IAS Director of HIV Programmes and Advocacy

We are delighted to welcome Kevin Osborne to the International AIDS Society (IAS) as the new Director of HIV Programmes and Advocacy. Kevin brings over twenty years of experience in public health to the IAS executive team with a background in HIV programme implementation and human rights.

Kevin has supported a number of national, regional and international programmes by forging sustainable partnerships with governments, UN agencies, community organisations and the donor community. He has extensive experience in managing diverse teams and supporting large-scale advocacy initiatives through his previous roles as South Africa Country Director for PATH and as the International Planned Parenthood Federation’s Global HIV Advisor in London. Most recently he served as FHI 360’s Global Project Director of the PEPFAR- and USAID-supported LINKAGES project, where he was responsible for working with key populations and public-and community-sectors in twenty-four countries to reduce HIV transmission and improve care and treatment.

As a well-respected and trusted voice within the HIV community, the addition of Kevin at IAS will further build the critical advocacy efforts of the Organization. Please join us in welcoming Kevin Osborne to IAS.
