  2010

The Towards an HIV Cure initiative, along with its partners, collaborates to plan, host and convene meetings at regional and international AIDS conferences.

The Towards an HIV Cure initiative convenes meetings for the Stakeholder’s Advisory Board and the Working Groups, as well as larger scientific symposiums and workshops.

The aim of the initiative is to contribute both to maximizing resources and strategic investment in the most promising strategies in search of a cure, and to the establishment of an international research alliance and/or expansion and global collaboration of existing consortia. To this end, our events are designed to bring together scientists, both specializing in HIV cure and those specializing in other fields, clinical researchers, scientific journalists, research funding administrators and community representatives to encourage collaborations and sharing of knowledge.
