Issues: In our country there have been a turn for the worse in the crisis of HIV/AIDS, a non planned pregnancies between single adolescents and the grow of sexual transmission diseases cases. Human sexuality continues generating biases, anxiety and fear in the younger ones, with immediate consequences to their life project and families.

Description: Our project focuses young persons living in impoverished conditions where great levels of violence and drug abuse are observed. Their low education, crammed spaces and carelessness are more than enough justification to convey the benefits of urgent intervention. As pleasure is linked to sexuality, this project also realized that the way to enter the young urban nuclei was trough their culture (music, dances, slang, leaders, etc.). We made contact with hundreds young people each month at dance halls, streets and schools. The project goes there to deliver information (pamphlets), workshops and condoms.

Conclusions: Through workshops, information modules and a team of promoters the project has learned how to approach and work a social group far detached from the scope of official campaigns in Mexico.

Recommendations: Is very important to contact with leaders of the street gangs to approach this young people, use the radio programs to broadcast all the information as possible, and speak clearly in their language.
